Realize cost reductions by consolidating and outsourcing tax and public money, revenue, and other operations.

POINT.01
Standardization of systems and operation methods
POINT.02
Mutual use of systems and personnel
POINT.03
Reduction and automation of human work

Solution Overview

There is an urgent need for management to reduce the operating costs of handling tax and public money, revenues, etc. at banks. Despite their diversified collection methods, the major banks continue to process a large number of these transactions, and the administrative burden is enormous. Primagest achieves cost reduction by outsourcing which integrates operations such as tax and public money and revenue.
This work requires not only mass processing but also timeliness and ensuring the quality of office work, and there are very high hurdles to carrying out the work. Primagest's total solution, with its long track record and accumulated know-how, can solve many problems.

We solve these challenges

Before
Separate systems were used for tax, public finance, and revenue receipt operations.
The system was not effective enough in terms of administrative efficiency and cost reduction.
After
・The standardization of reading, recognition, and other systems and the standardization of operation methods have enabled true centralization and significant cost reductions.
・Full outsourcing of the system enables a reduction in administrative workload.
Before
The number of cases differs greatly between the busy season and the normal season, and the business is highly volatile.
It was difficult to improve efficiency in terms of systems and personnel.
After
・The busy seasons do not overlap, and a common system infrastructure and standardized operation method enabled mutual use of systems and personnel, allowing operations to continue even during the busy season.
Before
Although this is a high-volume process, it is essential to ensure the quality and timeliness of the work.
After
・High-speed processing, minimized human workload, and automation were realized.
・High-speed processing was achieved by utilizing ultra-high-speed readers, classifiers, and high-speed readers.
・Reduction of manual sorting work by using a 100-pocket sorting machine.
・Automatic inspection is performed using imaging know-how.

Solution Details

System construction and standardization of operations on a common infrastructure enabled true centralized processing and reduced costs.

01

In the system for tax and public money, revenue, etc. we constructed a system in which equipment such as readers, sorters, entry terminals and more can be shared for work involving tax and public funds, revenue, and more. In addition, standardization of operations has been implemented to enable mutual use of not only the system but also personnel during busy periods and similar times, thereby enabling lean and flexible operations according to business conditions (i.e., differences between busy and normal periods). We have also established a backup system for equipment and personnel for contingencies.

A dedicated sorting machine with up to 100 pockets automates the tedious task of sorting.

02

The 100-pocket dedicated sorter eliminates manual sorting and enables automatic sorting, which is an essential task in tax and public money, revenue, and other operations. This prevents mis-sorting and realizes high-volume processing. It also enables substantial streamlining when sorting by tax items in the processing of tax and public money by municipality, which is increasing year by year and placing a heavier administrative burden on the taxpayers. In addition, the recognition tool improves input efficiency by improving the recognition rate and automatically checks for collection stamps, etc.

The use of a dedicated reader and a dedicated sorter together enables parallel processing, significantly reducing processing time and ensuring timeliness.

03

In this operation, it is essential to process the work from receipt, advance processing, reading, recognition, scrutiny, confirmation, and shipping within a limited time frame.
In addition, there is a large disparity in the number of cases between the busy season and the normal season, and the work must be performed in a manner that ensures the quality of the work.
We have achieved this quality and timeliness with our know-how (imaging, operation), hardware (dedicated readers, dedicated sorters), and systems that we have cultivated over many years.
