Major functions supported by eFIRST Process

1. Definition of operational data ("case") Operational applications can be developed after operational data are defined.
2. Definition of relationship between operational data ("link") More complex operational applications can be developed after the relationships between operational data are defined.
3. Generation of the Web-based operation screen A Web-based operation screen is automatically created on the basis of defined operational data and relationships between them.
4. Work flow Operations can be implemented in accordance with the map created with Process Analyzer. eFIRST Process adopts the FloWare engine to support priority control of operations, automated operational processing, triggering with delayed operations, parallel processing of operations, and creating an audit trail of operational processes.
5. Storage of files/images eFIRST Process supports long-term storage of files and images. It also enables automatic transfer of files to secondary media after a predetermined period.
6. Definition of rules eFIRST Process may choose a specific route for some operational processes in accordance with defined operational rules. For example, an operation involving a large amount of money is subject to strict checks. Defining operational rules like this facilitates adaptation to changes in operational rules.
7. Progress control This function supports a search for the operation processing status, indication of the results in graphical form or on a Web operation screen and outputs in PDF format.
8. Image processing Images in JPEG and TIFF formats can be magnified, reduced, rotated and annotated on the Web-based operation screen.
9. Role-based access right settings Roles may be assigned to users. Operational data and the screens that they can view or edit may be limited on the basis of their roles.
